The delta is teeming with a remarkable array of wildlife. This period is perfect for exploring the delta by traditional mokoro canoe, gliding through the labyrinth of channels and observing wildlife up close. The dry season, from November to April, brings an abundance of game to the delta’s edges, as animals gather around the remaining water sources.
