Over nine days, you can tour the charming wine farms and town centres of the scenic Cape Winelands and track African wildlife in a traditional mokoro canoe through the waterways of the Okavango Delta.
A Unique African Adventure
DAY 1
Nestled between the South Atlantic Ocean and rugged mountains, Cape Town is a paradise not to be missed. Not only does South Africa's oldest city offer breathtaking scenery with plenty to do outdoors, but there’s also a world-class wine region, a fantastic food scene, and a rich culture and history to be discovered, all on your doorstep.
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you can arrange to be collected and transferred to the Atzaró Cape Town Small Luxury Hotel. Spend the late afternoon and evening settling in. For dinner, you have the option to dine at Atzaró Cape Town or try one of the many dining hot spots nearby.
DAY 2-4
Each day begins with a delicious breakfast buffet in the comfort of your holiday home. The day is then yours to tap into adventures that pique your interest.
Choose from a great list of activities such as a trip up Table Mountain, kayaking with seals, shark cage diving, a day trip to the Cape Winelands, hiking Lions Head, and visiting the V&A Waterfront. These activities can all be pre-booked with your Atzaró Cape Town general manager.
For respite between adventures or simply to enjoy a day of leisure, you can settle in poolside or have in-house spa treatment tailored for you – the perfect antidote to travelling.
In the evenings, you have the option to have dinner at Atzaró Cape Town or enjoy a dining experience out on the town – choose from a wide variety of top restaurants offered which can be pre-booked by the general manager. Cape Town is revered for its culinary offerings extending from traditional South African fare to world-class European gastronomy feasts.
DAY 5
Rise early for a delicious breakfast buffet before check-out. An airport shuttle can be arranged to collect you at approximately 7:30 AM to transfer you to Cape Town International Airport from where you will fly straight to Maun, Botswana, with the expected time of arrival in Maun at 01:00 pm.
Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be greeted by our safari concierge who will assist you to your awaiting helicopter transfer flight. This exclusive and scenic 20-minute transfer to Atzaró Okavango Camp is a breathtaking introduction to Botswana and the adventure that's to come. Keep a lookout for hippos in the waterways and elephants amongst the trees.
Arrive at camp mid-afternoon, just in time for high tea, followed by your first evening game drive and a sunset cocktail. Atzaró Okavango Camp is renowned for its cuisine infused with a burst of local flavours and fresh, seasonal ingredients, served beside our tranquil lagoon.
DAY 6-8
Each day in camp will begin with a wake-up call at 5:30 AM, followed by an early morning game drive. For the rest of the day, choose from a variety of daily activities outlined below; such as safari walks, mokoro adventures, and community visits.
You can choose to spend your day at the gym, yoga shala, wine tasting at our Cape-inspired cellar and tasting room, at the Wellness Sanctuary or simply relaxing beside the swimming pool.
Bookend each day with mouthwatering cuisine, served to you around the camp, in your suite, or under the African sky, surrounded by the resonating sounds of nature.
DAY 9
Before departing, enjoy a final early morning game drive, a gym or spa session, or simply sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast. At around 11:00 AM, you'll return to Maun Airport via helicopter and then home to your final destination.
Savour the views as you fly over the majestic Okavango Delta and its mesmerising landscape for one last time and carry the memory of Botswana and your time at Atzaró Okavango Camp with you for a lifetime.
