Occupancy

• Suites: 2 adults sharing or 1 adult and 1 child. Where triple rooms are needed, these will be on a request-only basis.
• Icon Villas: 2-bedroom, exclusive use villa with lounge, en-suite bathrooms, plunge pool and private deck area. Private vehicle included. The villa can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests sharing.

Payment Terms & Conditions

• 20% of the total booking value is required to be paid as a commitment fee. This confirms the booking and the itinerary. This commitment fee is nonrefundable.
• The balance of payment (80%) is due 60 days before arrival.
• If the booking is made less than 60 days before travel, 100% payment is due
  before the booking will be confirmed.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation of a booking 61 or more days before the date of travel will result in the 20% commitment fee being retained.
• Cancellation of a booking between 60 – 46 days before the date of travel will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the total value of the itinerary and the stay. The 50% cancellation fee includes the 20% commitment fee paid on acceptance.
• Cancellation of a booking 45 days or less before the date of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee based on the total value of the itinerary and stay. The 100% cancellation fee includes the 20% commitment fee paid on acceptance.

Family Travel

• Atzaró Okavango Camp caters to traveling families and we welcome children of all ages under supervision at the Camp.
• For children we offer the Ngwana Club: A family-friendly program that offers kids of all ages a variety of safari-related activities while offering privacy to our other guests.
• Atzaro Okavango Camp has Suites and Villas to cater to families. Where triple rooms are needed, these will be on a request-only basis.
• Full rates for transfers apply to children of all ages.
• We can assist with children’s activities during the day in conjunction
  with the Ngwana Club.
• Large villas with family pools allow for a magical and private time together.

Children’s Policy

• Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge but should be under constant parental supervision. Some restrictions apply to activities according to age.
• Children 0 – 6 years sharing with adults have accommodation free of charge, but transfers and conservation levies still apply.
• Children 7 – 15 years will be accommodated at 50% of the adult rate when sharing a suite with one adult or another child. A single child accommodated in their own suite will be charged the full rate.
• Children (0 – 15yrs) pay USD 42 per person per night. This fee includes park entry fees, concession fees, and conservation and community contributions.
• Children 16 years old and above will pay 100% of the adult rate, with no restrictions for activities. For safety reasons, activities such as walking safaris, mokoros canoeing, and game viewing are restricted to children over 16 years old and over.
• Children must wear life vests when participating in the water excursions. Families traveling with children under the age of 12 will be charged the exclusive use of a private vehicle for game viewing, and this is subject to availability.

Provisional Bookings

Provisional bookings will be held for 10 days from the date of inquiry. Failure to confirm the arrangements held within 10 days in writing, may result in provisionally held space being automatically released without prior notice.

Where another booking is wait-listed against the original provisional booking, Atzaró Okavango Camp reserves the right to request that the original provisionally held reservation be either confirmed or released within 48 hours.

Please Note

Rates are subject to change based on circumstances outside of our control. All reservations and amendments must be confirmed to Atzaró Okavango Camp in writing. Accurate guest information including all special requests, meal requests, weights (for flights) full and correct spelling of names must be received one month prior to the guests’ arrival.

All reservations are subject to the Atzaró Okavango Camp cancellation policy. Payment must be made and received in full prior to guest arrival.

Conservation & Community Matters:

• The Community & Conservation Levy is a compulsory USD 85 per person per night applicable for all guests staying at Atzaró Okavango Camp.
• Children (0-15yrs) pay USD 42 per person per night.
• This fee includes park entry fees, concession fees, and conservation
  and community contributions.

Single Supplement (per adult per night):

• Single Supplement for 2024 is 220 USD per person per night at the adult rate and is only applicable from 1 April to 30 November 2024.
• Single Supplement for 2025 is 430 USD per person per night (April, May, November) and 650 USD per person per night (Jun, Jul, Aug, Sept, Oct). This is only applicable from 1 April to 30 November 2025 (mid & high season).

Private Vehicles:

• Atzaró Okavango Camp policy guarantees window seats and a maximum of 6 people per game drive vehicle.
• Private vehicles are available at a rate of USD 500 per night and are subject to availability.
• Private vehicles must be booked for the full stay at the camp. Please note that the Family Villa includes a private vehicle.

Private Guides:

• Guests travelling with a private guide will be required to book and pay for a private vehicle for the duration of their stay at our camp.
• Registered private guides stay at Atzaró Okavango Camp property Free of Charge in our guide accommodation (Additional transfers are excluded).
• Non-registered Private Guides/Tour leaders staying in Guide Accommodation pay USD 200 per night. This rate includes accommodation and meals and excludes all scheduled safari activities.
